Using the PREINPUT in ProvideX during a TIM event will not trigger the INPUT
handler in NOMADS. You need to emulate a true external keyboard event
probably with a postmessage or sendkey API call.

On PxPlus this is done for you.

Subject: [Pvx] ON EVENT TIM=x and Nomads

Following the example in the documentation, I set up the event in my panel's
POST_LOAD subroutine. I know that it does work because when in console mode
it does trigger a CTL at the given time.

My problem is that it doesn't seem to work with Nomads. The event I trigger
at the specific time is a PREINPUT BT_HALT.CTL , BT_HALT.CTL is a button on
my nomads panel. I assumed that it would emulate pressing the button. It
doesn't seem to work. Anybody know why?
